We use comments in between python code lines, to make it easier for other programmers and ourself to understand what is going on.
You start comment with a # , and Python will ignore them:
# I am a comment
print("Free code wiki")
With Python, you can also use multi line comments.
"""I am a comment
print("Test!") : (notice pythin will not print this line)
tip: You can place Python comment at the end of a line.
print("Free code wiki") # I am a comment
